Google Sheets add-on

Clean ranges, look up values, and summarize rows without leaving Sheets.

PromptCell gives spreadsheet teams AI formulas that are built around real work: standardize messy data, pull results from another sheet, classify leads, and draft follow-ups directly where the work already lives.

What PromptCell does

Lead with outcomes, not formula trivia. PromptCell is strongest when you ask it to finish a spreadsheet task that would normally take repetitive formulas or manual cleanup.

Clean messy spreadsheet ranges

Normalize casing, fix abbreviations, trim whitespace, rewrite inconsistent values, and keep the same row and column shape when you need a clean replacement range.

=ASKR("Trim spaces and standardize state abbreviations", A2:D10)

Look up values across sheets

Use a search key from one range, match it against another sheet, and return the aligned result without building a complicated XLOOKUP stack.

=ASKX("Return the matching customer tier", A2, Customers!A:A, Customers!C:C)

Summarize, classify, and explain

Turn long rows into short summaries, lead scores, next-step notes, or plain-language explanations for the rest of the team.

=ASK("Summarize this customer row for the sales team", A2:F2)

Build a new table from messy inputs

Filter rows, extract fields, create headers, or return a fresh structured output when the result should not match the original shape.

=ASKT("Return only active deals with owner and next step", A2:H200)

How it works

Most teams are live in a few minutes.

1. Install PromptCell

Install the add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace, then open any spreadsheet where you want AI help.

2. Sign in once

Use Google sign-in inside the PromptCell sidebar. New sheets can reuse the same saved account automatically.

3. Run the first formula

Start with a simple task like summarizing a row, cleaning a range, or matching a customer tier from another sheet.

4. Upgrade when the team is ready

Move into paid billing only when the team is ready. Gemini uses 1 usage unit. Claude uses 3 usage units.

Why teams pick PromptCell

Built for spreadsheet work

The formulas are designed around single-cell answers, same-shape rewrites, flexible tables, and cross-sheet lookup tasks.

Keys stay on your backend

Provider keys remain under your control instead of being pasted into shared spreadsheets.

Billing matches model cost

Gemini and Claude are weighted differently, so billing stays closer to actual provider usage.
